The two world leaders, PM Modi and the US President Donald Trump, met for the first time at the White House. From engaging in a one-on-one conversation, to moving on to delegation-level talks, to finally ending with a working dinner, PM Modi had a great time with President Trump.
The two leaders, who are highly active on social media, talked about terrorism, trade, energy, and security. They even expressed that the ties between the two countries have never looked brighter. The meeting went really great but there came a moment when PM Modi was about to get embarrassed in front of the US President. However, Ajit Doval’s alertness saved PM Modi.
Ajit Doval, who is the national security advisor of India, is one of the most trusted aides of the Indian Prime Minister. Doval holds all the authority that is related to our nation’s security and safety. But, Ajit Doval took his responsibilities to the next level and rescued PM Modi from getting embarrassed in front of the US President at the White House when wind played a trick on the Indian PM.
Modi was all set to share his remarks with the media when the wind blew some of his speech papers away. The incident took place in the White House’s Rose Garden. The Indian Prime Minister was busy listening to Trump’s speech when this happened. But, India’s National Security Advisor, who was sitting in the first row, ran to save him and handed over the papers to the PM after collecting them nicely.
Hardly anyone could notice what exactly happened, but a video of the incident has gone viral and people are praising Ajit Doval for his alertness and carefulness. Check out the video here:
