Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be next seen in “Fanne Khan” opposite Rajkummar Rao and after 17 years, the actress will reunite with her “Taal” co-star Anil Kapoor in Prernaa Arora’s production venture.
It is a well known fact that Aishwarya is an extremely private person, but she recently opened up about her life post marriage to Abhishek Bachchan.
While, on one hand people believe that being a Bachchan family Bahu, she has to pick up her projects very carefully, the reality is something very different.
“When I got married, it was interesting to discover that everything was continuing as it were – script discussions and business meetings. I wanted to keep it going because it meant there was a change in our otherwise-conservative industry.”
“Likewise, with motherhood, I worked from the beginning but it was on endorsements, charity work and business ideas.I starred in my first film when Aaradhya was three. I never ‘stopped working’; I just wasn’t on screen.”
She also contended that her mother is her only role model and she continues to imbibe her values. About her dream role she explained that she has never discussed her dream role with anyone. She emphasized on the fact if someone writes a dream role for her, there will be nothing to look forward to.
She reportedly opened up about having no friends in the industry. “From the day I chose to step into showbiz, I’ve survived by holding on to who I am; my own best friend and brutal critic,” the actress contended.
Rajkummar and Aishwarya’s film “Fanne Khan” is slated to release on July 13 this year.
