Shahid Afridi has announced his retirement the fifth time in the last seven years. People have actually got bored of wishing him good luck because every time Afridi announces his retirement, he comes back!
On his fifth retirement, now from International cricket, various cricketers wished him good luck for the future. One of them was Sanath Jayasuriya. This is what Jayasuriya wrote for Shahid Afridi:
I like to wish @SAfridiOfficial all the best for the future. Thank you for the memories. You helped change the game!

To Jayasuriya’s good luck wish, Afridi gave the most stupid reply. Here is what he replied to Jayasuriya,
Thanks @sanath07 . I only ended wat u began😊 https://t.co/QejvSQj3BP

Afridi’s tweet doesn’t make any sense! Still, if he was talking about power hitting by saying “ended” then players like Maxwell, De Villiers, Corey Anderson and Carlos Brathwaite have already left him far behind.
Such reply by Afridi actually makes us feel that he should have retired a long time ago. We wish him good luck and hope he never makes a comeback again!
