While addressing the public at the event that was organized in the Parade Ground of the city, he said that those who perpetuate crimes against women will not be spared and their houses will be bulldozed. In the past one month, almost half a dozen criminals have been shot dead in encounters by state police. DNA quotes Yogi Adityanath saying,

My government will bulldoze houses of anyone even thinking of perpetuating crime against women and weaker sections of the society. Land mafias and those usurping land forcefully are on the run under my government. It will take a little more time to tighten noose around criminal elements further.

The Uttar Pradesh government is reportedly creating a special force in the state that will be responsible for dealing exclusively with hardcore criminals and land mafia. During his Allahabad visit, Yogi Adityanath announced many more development schemes ahead of the 2019 Ardhakumbha.
