Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan was recently in the news after his comeback film Manmarziyaan was released and received positive reviews from critics and audience alike. He made an extended special appearance playing a supporting role in the film. Needless to mention, the actor faced the camera after two years, and people have trolled him several times in the past for not working and getting films for such a long time.
In a recent interview to a leading daily, Abhishek Bachchan opened up about his personal life, his next film with Aishwarya, daughter Aaradhya and niece Navya Naveli Nanda’s plans in Bollywood.
Abhishek was asked many things from his upcoming film, from his daughter and niece to Manmarziyaan director, and the actor has answered all of them. When asked about Gulab Jamun, the actor said,
”It’s the comfort level. I don’t have to forge a relationship, which most actors do with their co-stars. Also, I think I’ve done more films with Aishwarya than any other female co-star. She has always brought out the best in me. I am excited to get in front of the camera with her once again.”
Talking about his daughter Aaradhya, Abhishek said, ”Well, yes she is a creative child. But she is only six so she does everything. There’s a lot of time until she decides what she wants to do.” When he was asked about his niece Navya Naveli Nanda’s Bollywood plans, the actor said,
Also SeeDivya Bharti, an unsolved mystery
“Navya (21) is busy with her University. She is studying communication and marketing. And from what I know she is busy being a student right now, and so is Agastya (18). He is in school. I think it’s too early for them to decide what their career should be.”
The actor was also asked to comment something about Manmarziyaan director Anurag Kashyap and he said this,
“Once you work with Anurag, it turns out to be a very emotional experience. He is definitely one of the most giving directors I’ve ever worked with. He is very gracious. He makes you feel very comfortable to share your soul with everybody.”
“Filmmaking is a collaborative art, and Anurag is a collaborative director. He likes the involvement of his actors, and that helped. Regarding my look, he sprung it up on me last minute. ‘Why don’t you wear a turban’ is what he said.”
Meanwhile, here’s wishing good luck to Abhishek Bachchan for all his future projects!
