Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has been in the limelight for making some controversial remarks. Earlier, he had said that the internet and sophisticated satellite communication existed even in the era of Mahabharata. Then he suggested that only civil engineers should go for civil services and not mechanical engineers. He had said that civil engineers have knowledge and experience to “help build administration and society”.
After that, he advised the youth of the country to not chase the government jobs and rear cows instead. He had said that graduates should get cows and milk them to earn Rs 10 lakh in 10 years. His statements have left a lot of people including some leaders of his own political party displeased.
Indicating towards his controversial statements, AAP leader Ashutosh recently took to Twitter, and referred to Biplab Deb as a “namuna” and asked where the BJP has got him from. Check out his tweet below:

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has summoned Biplab Deb to Delhi since Deb’s statements in the last one week have offended many members of the BJP. These members raised the issue with the Prime Minister, saying that Deb’s statements could have a negative impact on Karnataka elections.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be meeting Biplab Kumar Deb in Delhi on May 2, 2018.
