Aamir Khan is not only a perfectionist but also an innovative person. After entertaining generations of people, the mega star keeps revealing some hidden secrets about himself every now and then.
It is no secret that neither does he attends any award functions nor he uses a mobile phone. For his 53rd birthday, he was seen kissing his wife passionately in front of the paparazzi. Now, the actor has revealed that he has stopped charging fee for a movie long time back.
While speaking at his annual media interaction, Khan revealed:
“Actually I don’t charge a fee. People don’t know that but it has been years since I have stopped charging a fee.”
Further revealing how he earns, Khan said:
“If the film makes less money, I make less money, and if the film makes more money, I make more money.”
His movies “Secret Superstar” and “Dangal” have been massive hits in India and in China. Speaking on it, Khan said that the movies were huge money-spinners in China and this kind of reaction is also possible in India with the aid of the right type of infrastructure.
“I think India has as big a potential as China. I just feel that China has done major investment in the entertainment industry and its administration is also supportive. They have built up a lot of screens, and that is why the business has gone up. I think if we build many more theaters here in India, which is such a large country with a huge population, we will get the same kind of growth in the entertainment and film industry. So it is just the matter of building the infrastructure in India.”
Aamir Khan is currently shooting for his new movies, ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ in Jodhpur which will be released on Diwali this year. The movie features Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
