Aamir Khan has been gimmicky enough in his actions to stay in the news most of the time. Whether it’s being called “perfectionist” when he’s mostly a ham actor or promoting his movies’ looks in bizarre fashions, Aamir Khan usually ends up getting much positive publicity. Until he slips up and starts talking like he belongs to a minority community – after that, the public pretty much takes their gloves off.
Since Aamir Khan has survived in the industry a long time, he has been getting inquiries from youngsters looking to work in Bollywood who wish to learn the tricks of the trade from him.
The star has now decided to fulfill that role; he plans to train two interns every year from now on. These two students will be interning with him full time. The first two interns are Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra (playing Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari respectively in Khan’s upcoming ‘Dangal’). These two will receive their training till March next year.
Khan is reportedly keen that the interns join him for all shoots, meetings, reading sessions, rehearsals and all behind-the-cameras work. Both interns are already well into their training.
A spokesperson for the star said: “Aamir personally wants to pass on his working experiences of past and is keen to share and motivate the next generation of talent. He would train two students every year.”
