On November 26, 2008, ten heavily armed terrorists sailed from Pakistan and attacked the country’s financial and entertainment hub, Mumbai, and killed 166 people and left over 300 with injuries. I remember I was in 10th standard and all my colleagues and teachers in Delhi were completely shocked. Those horrific days are the worst memories anyone can have. Just imagine the trauma of the people who faced the tragedy when Pakistani terrorists entered Mumbai with guns and attacked the famous and so-called secured places including Taj and Oberoi hotels.
In total there were a series of 12 coordinated shooting and bombing attacks lasting four days across Mumbai, perpetrated by 10 members of Lashkar-e-Taiba, an Islamic terrorist organization based in Pakistan.
People have yet not forgotten the dreaded event and on its 10th anniversary shared some of their stories related to the attacks.
Time can never heal such wounds.
Many were traveling on that day and got to know about the attacks on the news or with a phone call.
Something like this was so rare that people actually related it with some action movie!
Many were kids in 2008 when the tragic incident happened.
Getting information was not that easy, back then in 2008 and many got to know about their relatives much later.
The pain is not going to lessen for those who had to face the trauma of losing their loved ones.
All stories are taken from Reddit.
Tributes were paid by the president and Mumbai police on Twitter.

You and I can only remember the date but those who survived will remember the pain. Do you also have a story to share?
