Yuzvendra Chahal is among the best bowling talent in Indian cricket team. Chahal’s performance in IPL 2016 while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) got him selected in the team. Chahal hails from Jind district of Haryana, India. Since his childhood, he has an interest in both cricket and chess. Yuzvendra, who represents Haryana in Ranji Trophy, is the only player so far in the history to represent India in chess and cricket. But, it looks there is something else in which the bowler has developed his interest.

Chahal has been uploading a lot of workout videos of himself on his official Instagram handle. The videos are saying a lot about the efforts he has been putting in to transform himself. Don’t believe us? Take a look at his inspiring videos.

Be sincere to yourself. Improve each day. Focus on the right things #lifemotto

The cricketer’s fans are liking Chahal’s videos and even sending him a lot of praise. But, something different happened recently when Chahal uploaded his latest weightlifting video. The video’s caption “Make each day count. Get better everyday #newyear #newgoals” indicated towards Chahal’s New Year’s resolution. It seems Chahal has decided to transform himself in 2018. However, instead of challenging himself he has challenged West Indies player Chris Gayle.

Here’s the video that Chahal posted:

Make each day count. Get better everyday #newyear #newgoals

Chahal’s video received hundreds of comments and one of them was of South African spinner Tabraiz Shamsi. Tabraiz said that it’s difficult to tell whether it’s Yuzvendra or Chris Gayle.

To this Chahal replied that he lifts more weight that Gayle.

His self-comparison with the West Indies player got him hilariously trolled. Gayle came up with an epic reply to mock Chahal and said:

They might be rivals on the playing ground, but most of the cricketers from all around the globe share a good relationship with each other and this kind of leg pulling is pretty common among them. But, do you think Chahal can beat Gayle? Do share your views in the comments below!
