Tejashwi had recently advertised a WhatsApp number for filing complaints with regards to Road Construction Ministry.
The ministry was hoping that people will send complaints or details about the condition of roads and highways in the state, but instead received hundreds of “marry me” messages for Tejashwi.
What is more, women from across Bihar were sending him the proposals.
The WhatsApp number was meant to give people an option to send photographs of bad roads in the state, so the ministry can get them repaired.
But many mistook it as Tejashwi’s personal number and started sending personal messages.
According to a ministry official, over 45,000 messages have been received since the number was made public, but only 160 messages are actual reports on the condition of roads.
When Tejashwi was asked about this development, he laughed and said that he was glad that he was single or else such messages could have landed him into deep trouble.
