Twitterati Ask Kejriwal To Apologize For His Remarks Against PM Modi

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday said his office was raided by the Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI) on the orders of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The raid led him to launch a vitriolic attack on PM Modi, calling him a “coward and psychopath” and intensifying the tussle of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) with the Centre.

And in no time, Twitter was filled with reactions on Kejriwal’s remarks:

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also tweeted:

BJP leader Kiran Bedi, who was the Chief Minister Candidate from BJP against the Arvind Kejriwal tweeted:

Some people asked Kejriwal to apologize to the prime minister for these derogatory remarks:

The CBI was not raiding Kejriwal’s office, said a senior official of the investigating agency, who declined to be identified.

CBI investigators were searching the office of Rajendra Kumar, principal secretary of the Delhi government, near Kejriwal’s office, the official said. Kumar is under investigation for corruption.

Kejriwal and Centre have been at loggerheads over the appointment of bureaucrats and the control of police since Kejriwal’s party came to power in Delhi this year.
