Thacker, in her facebook post, wrote that she can’t come to terms with the fact her best friend won’t be there at her wedding.
“That my best friend cannot be there for what will be my biggest day is something that I cannot come to terms with. Forget the hustling, the paperwork, the months of coordination and prayers- we didn’t know that it would end with a rejection,” she wrote.
She also started a #GetSarahToIndia Twitter campaign.
Her best friend Munir also tweeted her predicament to several Pakistani artists including Mawra Hocane and Mahira Khan.
But, she hasn’t received any reply yet.
