Rio Olympics, 2016 has come to an end, and we are richer by two more medalists, PV Sindhu and Sakshi Malik. In the past, we had medalists like Abhinav Bindra, Yogeshwar Dutt, Saina Nehwal, Narsingh Yadav, who made India's Olympic dreams come true, and they will always be our role models.
But what about countless others who have spent years training for the big event? Many of them have struggled really hard to make to the Olympics. It is true that not all of them managed to bag medals, maybe it was just a matter of luck. Take for instance, Dipa Karmakar, the Indian gymnast - her story is heart wrenching. She was born with flat feet, but never gave up on her dreams. She practised in rat infected gyms, and in the end, she did make it to Olympics.
There are others like her. This year we had athletes like Manish Rawat and Dutte Chand, who's struggles are equally inspiring. They absolutely deserve a salute for their exemplary courage.
Watch this powerful video, a tribute to all Indian athletes. 'Woh Haare Nahin', Sony LIV not only salutes the spirit of the Indian contingent at the Rio Olympics but also recognises the struggles behind their achievements.
