The world may be divided into segments but the political class is the same all around. Irrespective of their individual identities, their colour, their country or their way of coming to power, politicians are all the same. They make promises, often false, and speak like there is no tomorrow. But we love it when they speak and cheer or jeer as the case may be. Sometimes the best of politicians utter something which is stupid and it is these quotes we cite as proof of their intellect or absence of it. Thanks to the stupid quotes by politicians, we know the difference between a sensible man and an idiot. This list has top ten of such quotes with the names of politicians and our comments but George W. Bush is not in it. We can’t have God in a list of mortals. But since he matters, we put his image on top.
