10. The Royal Family of Netherlands:

The monarchy of Netherlands was approved in 1815 during the Congress of Vienna and it is regulated by the members of House of Orange-Nassau. This royal family was founded after the marriage of Claudia of Chalon-Orange of France and  Hendrik III of Nassau-Breda. Currently headed by queen Beatrix, his son Prince Willem Alexander is the next heir to the throne. The monarch is an essential part of the government of Netherlands and speaks with one voice to implement any rule in the country.

9. The Royal Family of Belgium:

Founded on November 22, 1830, as a constitutional monarchy by the National Congress of Belgium, this royal family is currently being governed by King Albert II. Far away from the religious and ideological considerations, the king is believed as the supreme authority of the Belgium’s administrative and political matters. Apart from the other European royal families, the monarch of Belgium is throned only after taking a constitutional oath whereas other countries follow the maxim of abdication.

8. Royal Family of Liechtenstein:

Cuddled between Switzerland and Austria, this monarchy has changed Liechtenstein into an industrial powerhouse. It is counted among one of the oldest royal families of Europe and possesses the parliamentary democracy under constitutive monarchy. This royal family is currently being headed by Prince Hans-Adam II, son of Franz Joseph II and Countess Georgina von Wilczek.

7. The Royal Family of Morocco:

Comprising the complete authority over Morocco’s government, the world famous monarchy of Morocco is also known for the significant contribution of King Hassan II  for peace in Middle East. The king of Morocco is believed as the direct descendant of the prophet Mohammad and any type of unfavorable remark on the monarchy is considered as blasphemy. In July 1999, Mohammed VI was crowned as the king and since then he has been known as the “King of the poor” and “The King of Cool“.

6. Thailand’s Royal Family:

Protector of Buddhist faith in Thailand, this royal family has witnessed nine kings, ever from its inception. Currently, this family is being governed by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who is also credited with the “World’s longest reigning current monarch” (ruling since June 9, 1946). This family is considered as a strong pillar for the prosperity of Thailand.

5. Royal Family of Bahrain:

Ruled by the notable al Khalifa dynasty since 1783, this constitutional monarchy is now governed by Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the firebrand of democratic transformations. However, Bahrain has a democratically voted parliament but the King’s decision is regarded as the eventual and no one can trespass it.

4. Jordan’s Royal Family:

A significant component of Jordan’s soul, The Hashemite royal family was established in 1921. This family is credited for the institutional groundwork for heightening the modern Jordan and also for its significant contribution in enhancing the democratic legitimacy. The current monarch of this family is Abdullah II, who was crowned on February 7, 1999, after the passing away of his father, King Hussein.

3. The Royal Family of Saudi Arabia:

Founded by Abdul Aziz ibn Saud in 1932, the king of this royal family constitutes the absolute political power within Saudi Arabia.
