Top 10 people behind the Google

To be very honest, Google is the single most knock-down and large-hearted  entity in existence today. Moreover, a common Internet user respects this piece of algorithm even more than God. Well, religion is slumping and technology is rising. Digging into this topic, TopYaps lists ten actual people those who are involved in running the God. Know about these blokes and wait for our another topic – “Top 10 reasons why Google is better than God.”

10. David C. Drummond:

David Drummond was officially introduced to Google in 2002, as Vice President of corporate development and in current scenario, he is the Chief Legal Officer of this firm. Drummond has significantly assisted Larry Page and Sergey Bring during the initial rounds of funding for Google. He holds a bachelor degree in history from the Santa Clara University and JD from Stanford Law School.

9. Omid Kordestani:

An Iranian-American businessman, Kordestani joined Google in 1999 as its 12th official employee and is better known for generating the revenue of billions of dollars for this search giant. Graduate in electrical engineering from San Jose State University and holder of an MBA from Stanford Business School, Kordestani is a senior and most valued advisor to the CEO and founders of Google. He had also worked as the Senior Vice President for Worldwide Sales and Field Operations of Google.

8. K. Ram Shriram:

Counted among one of the most notable insiders of technology industry, Ram Shriram is a member of Board of Directors of Google since 1998. An MBA holder from the Ross School of Business and one of the first investors in Google, this visionary is widely admired for creating the DNA of Google as well as for enhancing its international growth. He is also known for his significant contribution in uplifting the market positions of Amazon.com, Netscape, StumbleUpon, Naukri.com and other ventures.

7. Nikesh Arora:

Senior Vice President and Chief Business Officer at Google, Nikesh Arora is credited for increasing the revenue of European, Middle Eastern and African (EMEA) operations from $1 billion to $8 billion. In 1989, he graduated in electrical engineering from Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University and later moved Northeastern University to pursue an MBA. Before joining the Google in 2004, Nikesh had worked for Putnam Investments, Deutsche Telekom and Fidelity Investments, with in unique strength.

6. Ann Mather:

An eminent member of the Board of Directors of Google as well as a Chairperson for Google’s Audit Committee, Ann Mather is a brand name in corporate world and a bloke in international financial community. Holder of an M.A. from Cambridge University, Mather has an wide experience of more than 30 years in developing strategic business initiatives for world’s top-notch brands. She was formerly the Chief Financial Officer of Pixar Studios and director at Shopping.com and Zappos.com.


5. John L. Hennessy:

After joining the Google in 2004 as a member of Board of Directors, this notable computer scientist has infixed some of the sophisticated parameters to enhance the productiveness of the world’s largest search engine. John L. Hennessy is an Electrical Engineering graduate from Villanova University whereas he earned his Master’s as well as Ph.D in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

4. L. John Doerr:

A notable venture capitalist and the actual power behind “Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers,” John Doerr is among one the most potents business advisors of the world. He is the member of Board of Directors since May, 1999 and possesses the attire of an essential pillar of Google. He also serves as a member of the President’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board (PERAB). John Doerr completed his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rice University and MBA from Harvard University.

3. Eric E. Schmidt:

It is true, that there is no blood relationship with Schmidt and Google, but to be very honest, this man of powerful vision has done everything for Google that a father is expected to do for his son. It was almost a wild-goose-chase for Page and Brin to make Google, the one and only one emperor of Internet arena, without Schmidt’s help. He became the CEO of Google in 2001 but eventually stepped down for Larry Page, after the finishing of his ‘adult supervision’ for business kids. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Princeton University whereas a Master’s and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.

2. Sergey Brin:

Larry Page revolutionized the entire web world by creating “Page Rank Algorithm” and now what we are asking to Brin is to make “Nerd Rank Algorithm.” Apparently, there is an immense curiosity among tech blokes  that what was his uniqueness that and why he is the king maker of www? This American computer nerd is the co-founder of Google Inc., who, along with, Larry Page, chocked up his Stanford dorm room with not-so-expensive computers to create a history, to create a phenomenon that world had never experienced.

1. Larry Page:

On the wide landscape of Internet, Larry Page is a name which rules the list of tech visionaries and monopolists. Counted among one of the youngest billionaires of the world, this mega nerd is the current CEO of Google and the undisputed ruler of the Silicon Valley. From management point of view, this guy is a bit frail but he becomes the bigwig whenever it comes to implement craziest of the craziest ideas, by applying the darkest depth of programming. Do the best and forget the rest, that’s the Google way!
