Terrorists Storm Indian Army Camp In Jammu’s Nagrota

Terrorists attacked an Army unit in Nagrota near Jammu on November 29 morning.

Reports suggest three terrorists were seen close to an ammunition depot of White Knight Corps Army Unit in Nagrota.

The terrorists reportedly lobbed grenades and opened fire at soldiers.

Two soldiers were martyred during the attack.

A fierce gunbattle took place between terrorists and security forces.

The area has been cordoned off and an exchange of fire between terrorists and security forces is under way.

“Additional forces and local police rushed to the spot. All the Army and general schools were shut down in the area as preventive measures,” sources in the police department said.

Nagrota town located in the Jammu district close to National Highway 1A which connects Jammu city with Udhampur.

Meanwhile, security forces on November 29 foiled an infiltration bid by a group of militants who tried to sneak in from Pakistan through the international border in Jammu, officials said.

According to media reports, the Samba infiltration bid is now over with a total of three terrorists getting killed.
