According to news reports, Sports Authority of India have identified a teenager, who may have ‘spiked’ wrestler Narsingh Yadav’s food supplements.

The teen, reportedly ‘spiked’ Yadav’s supplements at Sonepat Centre while Narsingh along with rest of the Indian team were training in Bulgaria.

Narsingh was tested positive for anabolic steroid methandienone which helps build muscle and enhance performance.

He had failed the test during a routine sampling on July 5 and had alleged foul play, claiming someone spiked his food. He, reportedly, also filed a written police complaint for the same.

Yadav is now set to meet NADA panel for final hearing in the matter, while India has chosen Parveen Rana as his replacement.
