Senior BJP leader Subramanian Swamy has once again landed himself in trouble but this time by abusing BJP ally Mehbooba Mufti.
Swami who is BJP’s nominated Rajya Sabha MP, in a TV interview equated Jammu and Kashmir chief minister with the “tail of a dog, which can’t be straightened”.
While talking about Kashmir Unrest and PDP-led coalition government in J&K, Swamy said that “Mehbooba will never change” and that there should be “President’s rule” in her place.
With regards to BJP’s coalition government with the PDP, Swamy said that BJP allied with Mehbooba in hope that she will “reform” herself, but added she will “she will never change”.
Swamy’s comments come in stark contrast with the synergy that was seen last week when Mehbooba and PM Narendra Modi met in Delhi.
