Following the attacks, Rajan stated that he won’t seek a second term. As a result the BJP received brickbats. In his interview with Arnab Goswami, PM Modi was asked about the criticisms mounted on Rajan. Modi voiced his disapproval of the same adding that even his MPs are not above the system.
