Indian Startups Facing Funding Crisis; Total Value Of Deals Goes Down By 62 Percent

With financial  downturn, Indian startups are facing the funding crisis. Only handful companies are making new investments in the country.

Earlier investors like Softbank and DST Global are quieter.

In the second quarter of 2016, the total value of deals went down by 62 percent to $2.2 billion.

Last year, during the same period, the total value was $6.1 billion, according to News Corp VCCEdge.


While the number of deals are up in Information Technology, the total value has come down a bit from last year.
