Wife of Lance Naik Hemraj has hailed the Indian Army for their surgical strikes on terror launch pads across the LoC.

Dharmvati is the wife of martyred soldier Hemraj who in 2013 was killed and then beheaded by the Pakistan soldiers.
Calling the action was a “befitting reply”, Dharmvati added that had India taken such actions earlier Uri Attacks would have never happened.
“The strikes by India have instilled confidence among soldiers and the common man. But if such a step was taken earlier, we would not have lost lives of soldiers in Uri”.
Dharmvati, who now resides in Mathura said the government should continue on such path and not show any leniency towards Pakistan-sponsored terrorists.

Lance Naik Hemraj was posted in Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir when allegedly Pakistani soldiers had taken advantage of the dense fog and attacked and killed him on January 8, 2013.
They had then mutilated his body, beheaded him, and taken his head across the border to Pakistan.
India on September 28, had carried out the surgical strikes on terrorist launch pads across LoC thus inflicting “significant casualties” on terrorists across the border. The sudden move had come just 11 days after there was a terror strike an Army camp in Uri, Kashmir.
