Shilpa Shetty Earns A Spot On The Stupid List, Thinks Orwell’s ‘Animal Farm’ Is About Loving Animals

Shilpa Shetty thinks George Orwell’s ‘Animal Farm’ should be introduced in schools so that kids can learn about loving and caring for animals.

Read that statement one more time, for it to really sink in!

‘Animal Farm’ is a political fable about a bunch of animals who rebel against the humans, hoping for a better, more egalitarian existence under self-rule, or swaraj, if you will. The plan fails when the pigs take over and begin bossing the animals around.

There is nothing, and I mean nothing, in Orwell’s book that can be considered kid-friendly for even a second. At no point is there any mention of loving and caring for animals, or anyone else for that matter! Basically, it’s the kind of book that sends shivers down the spines of many a grown-up. But Shilpa Shetty seems to think that kids would learn a lot from it.

In other words, the woman has lost her mind! Either that, or she’s just reminding us why she was on Big Brother — the UK version of Bigg Boss — the show where all the “has beens” end up! And now, all these years later, she’s spewing random things that make no sense, just to stay relevant. READ A BOOK, woman!

Predictably, those of us who read are making fun of her. And how!

There were some who threw her own song in her face:

And then there were those who had this to say:

haha1

Maybe someone should give her a copy of the book. Or fling one at her head the next time she shows up in public!
