A man, identified only as Yuan, from Changsha in the Hunan province ran into a stroke of bad luck recently as not only was he involved in a car accident, but that news led to his girlfriends finding out about his cheating ways as they came one after the other to take care of him.
Yuan was dating 17 women at the same time, one of whom he had a child with and some of whom helped him financially.
But that is not all, Yuan, who has a middle school diploma, claimed to be a civil engineering graduate from a top Chinese university and got a job at a “big company” in charge of revamping expressways. Despite the cushy job, he swindled tens of thousands from his girlfriends.
Some of the women, who range in age from 20 to 40 years, had been with Yuan for a decade before finding out the truth.

The Casanova met his girlfriends through the app WeChat. Xiao Li, who had been seeing Yuan for 18 months, said, “I was really worried when I heard that he was in hospital, but when I started seeing more and more beautiful girls show up, I couldn’t cry anymore.” An ex-wife claims that Yuan stole $50,000 from her.
The police are now looking into allegations of fraud and Yuan probably will have to rely on memories to keep him happy in the future.
