The Opposition, barring a few, are against the demonetisation drive of the Modi government. Then there are voices in the media which, due to their anti-Modi nature, are opposing demonetisation while obfuscating its merits. But something is clearly wrong when you link demonetisation to the martyrdom of soldiers.
Sagarika Ghose has done the saddest thing a journalist could do. This is what she posted on Twitter on November 30:
Note that she specifically emphasised the words terror funding.
Of course, she received a backlash for this seemingly insensitive remark:
