Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on April 29 visited external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj at AIIMS after she was admitted there.
Swaraj was admitted to AIIMS on April 25, after she had complained of chest congestion and has been undergoing treatment ever since.
In an official statement that was released by AIIMS on April 28, the medical institution said that Swaraj was showing signs of rapid improvement and that they would be discharging her soon. They at present have set up a medical board for formulating a combined treatment strategy for her. During his visit, Rahul spent some time in Hospital’s Cardio-Neuro Centre where Swaraj is admitted.
Swaraj had always shared a good rapport with Rahul and his mother – Congress President Sonia Gandhi, even when she was the Leader of Opposition in last Lok Sabha.
