Prime Minister Narendra Modi will soon get a brand new Air India One aircraft, similar to US President Barack Obama’s Air Force One, an American icon and the most secure aircraft in the world.
According to details available with Aaj Tak (part of India Today group), defence Mmnister Manohar Parrikar is likely to finalise the deal of two new Boeing 777-300s in the Defence Acquisition Council meeting to be held on June 25.
The aircraft will be equipped with hi-tech security equipment, along with latest communication facilities like satellite phone, fax, internet and other necessities to make it a functional office in the sky.

The aircraft can reportedly store food for 2,000 people and will have air-to-air refuelling facilities in case of emergency.
In addition to 19 TV sets, there will be broadband and radio connections inside the plane.
In order to ensure that the aircraft controls are not subjected to any hacking there is even an Intruder Detection System (IDS) which inspects all inbound and outbound network activity and identifies suspicious patterns that may indicate a network or system attack from someone attempting to break into or compromise a system.
