You know that Baba Ramdev is not just a yoga guru, he is also an ingenuous entrepreneur. It, therefore, comes as no surprise if you are told that he also sells papad – a thin, wafer-like eatable made from wheat – under the Patanjali brand name.
But, according to a Dainik Bhaskar report, when a man bought a packet of papad from one of Patanjali’s stores, he discovered that it was emanating a foul odour due to accumulated fungi.
He immediately charged the workers at the store, who admitted that there was indeed something wrong with the papad
but claimed it was due to the packaging, which was not monitored by Patanjali.
Reports say that Ramdev will soon be launching a brand of noodles in the market. It’s time to say your prayers.
