Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar recently ordered government officials to issue an advisory to people requesting them not to light fire including for ‘havan’ or puja between 9 am and 6 pm.

The bizarreness of the order is that it asks people not to cook between the period.

And what is the purpose of this order? To curb the number of fire accidents that have been happening in various parts of Bihar due to searing heat conditions.
