Twitter is the best platform to express your thoughts, joy and anger. But I guess it is soon becoming a battleground of opinionated wars and home of  stupid controversies. This Republic Day, we expected our celebs to spread their colors of nationalism and patriotism via Twitter but sadly only handful of celebs showed their true love for their country.
Many Twitter active celebs like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Chetan Bhagat, Mahesh Bhatt, Javed Akhtar, Deepika Padukone, Sonakshi Sinha and Rishi Kapoor took the backseat on such a monumental day.
We wondered why?

Sonakshi Sinha, who voiced against the meat ban, maintained silence on Republic Day.

Salman Khan, who is the first to give opinions on all judiciary matters, kept his mouth shut.

And Rishi Kapoor, who has endless time to share his PJs, couldn’t write a Republic Day tweet.

Mahesh Bhatt had time to give us ‘Raaz 4’ depressing chills but had no time for the nation.

Chetan Bhagat was busy making jokes which only he finds funny.

I’ll never understand these celebs.
