Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Nabam Tuki has resigned. He submitted his resignation to the Governor.

Sources told ANI that there will be no floor test.

Now, Pema Khandu, son of former Chief Minister Dorgee Khandu, has been elected as the chief of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP).

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju said that Centre has nothing to do with it and just want political stability in the state.

Just few days back, Supreme Court restored the Congress-led Nabam Tuki government to power in Arunachal Pradesh. It quashed all orders given by the governor.
