This Man Is Live-Tweeting Unique Stories From Indian Trains As He Travels Across India

Omkar Divekar is an engineering graduate and an aspiring cinematographer. On Twitter he also describes himself as a photographer and Chelsea fan.

On March 9, Divekar began a 16 day journey across India on Indian trains.

And, to experience India in its real form, Divekar is travelling in general compartments.

He began his journey from Mumbai to Okha, in Gujarat.

And clicked some fine vistas the train zipped past.

Divekar did not forget to share what it looks like in a general compartment of an Indian train. (Look here, AC folks!)

But the most beautiful part of his journey is, perhaps, the stories of his fellow travellers.

The vistas continue…

A few hiccups but Divekar and his friends continue their journey…

…and so do the stories

The journey is also proving that Indian trains actually bring strangers closer.

Divekar’s journey has just begun. You can travel with him through his MishterApu.
