PM Narendra Modi Wants Only Women To Speak In Parliament On March 8

To mark the occasion of International Women’s Day on 8th March, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has suggested that only women members should speak in Parliament on that day.

PM Modi had last year on March 8 sent out a message to women across the world and saluted their “indomitable courage and stellar achievements”.

Since becoming the Prime Minister in May 2014, Modi has done a lot for women empowerment and safety.

He has launched ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Yojana’.

 


Opened the Sukanya Samriddhi Account Scheme with 80C benefits for girl child.

Allowed 33% reservation for women in Police forces.

Also, the government is currently building 660 rape crisis centres for women.
