Sitar on an iPad.

See How An iPad Helped Create A Mellifluous GOT Cover In Indian Classical Style

The theme music of Game of Thrones is unforgettable. Praised universally by critics and fans, there have been numerous covers of the popular track composed by German-Iranian Ramin Djawadi. Ranging from the pure western style to acapella, the GOT theme music has its own share of fan following across the world.

Yes, there is an Indian classical version too, and it is indeed awesome. The unique thing is that it has been made using only two instruments – a ROLI Seaboard Rise and an iPad.

The iPad plays the sitar and the ROLI, the flute. Mahesh Raghvan, the composer who made this cover, mentions that the app used on the iPad is GeoShred.

And that is not Jon Snow; Raghvan says it's Jonachandra Snownaswami.
