The Pakistan Navy on November 18 claimed that it detected an Indian submarine “south of the Pakistani coast.”
Unsurprisingly, it said that despite Indian submarine’s desperate efforts to escape detection, it was continuously tracked by Pakistan Navy Fleet units and pushed well clear of their waters.
Pakistani Navy said it has released footage and photographs of its claim that Indian submarine was trying to enter Pakistani waters.
Indian Navy officials have called Pakistan Navy’s claim as “blatant lies” and said none of its vessels were in that area.
Pakistan also said that its Navy was ready to protect the motherland from the enemy.
“Pakistan Navy has the capability to retaliate with full force to any sort of aggression,” a Pakistani Navy spokesperson said.
Speaking to Geo News, Commodore (r) Obaidullah stated that the Indian navy was trying to undermine Pakistan’s CPEC project. He stated that the Indian navy’s target was Balochistan’s coastal area.
The spokesperson also said that this exercise had demonstrated Pakistan Navy’s anti-submarine warfare capabilities.
