Seemingly frustrated by India’s ‘very strong’ response on Pakistani posts at LoC, Pakistan Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said that they will kill three Indian soldiers for every Pakistani soldier they neutralise.
Asif also warned of dire consequences if India went to war against Pakistan. He said that China would stand by Pakistan in such a situation.
He had earlier threatened to use nuclear weapons and wipe India out of world map in case of a war.
The Pakistan defence minister also said that India has intentionally intensified the situation at the LoC to win people’s support in upcoming elections. He also alleged that India was supervising a terror network in Pakistan only to fuel violence in the country.
He said Pakistan’s Zarb-e-Azb offensive has dismantled an Indian terror network in the country.
“We have sent dossiers and video films to the UN and other countries showing Indian involvement in terrorism in Pakistan,” Asif said.
Asif informed the floor of the Pakistani assembly said that India was finding it hard to see the success of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
He also said that once the CPEC is complete, Islamabad will rise stronger.
He reiterated that the government and the armed forces were capable of protecting every inch of Pakistan and that India should not be under any illusion.
Pakistan Army on November 23 said that seven persons, including three of its soldiers, were killed in an exchange of fire with Indian troops on the LoC, taking the death toll in such incidents to 14 since last week.
The clash occurred a day after India had warned of retribution after losing three soldiers due to firing by Pakistani troops. The body of an Indian soldier was mutilated by Pakistani soldiers in a cross LoC-attack.
