India Celebrates Davis Cup Win With A ‘Victory Dance’, Shake A Leg To The Beats Of ‘Afghan Jalebi’

India’s Davis Cup team on July 17 found a unique way to celebrate their victory over South Korea.

The team, which comprised of Leander Paes, Rohan Bopanna, Saketh Myneni and Ramkumar Ramanatahn broke into a dance at the tunes of Bollywood song ‘Afghan Jalebi’ and treated the audience to a rare sight.

Sunday’s win has now earned India a spot into the World Group play-offs and the ‘dance off’ was team’s way of celebrating this feat.

Earlier in the week Saketh Myneni and Ramkumar Ramanatahn had won their respective singles rubbers while on Saturday Paes and Bopanna sealed the tie for India by winning the doubles rubber.

While India was looking for a complete whitewash on the last day, Ramanathan lost his reverse single tie, thus giving South Korea their single point.
