The Ilyushin Il-114-300 is a variant of the Ilyushin Il-114 small passenger plane that operates on regional routes in Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
According to Sputnik News, Russia has proposed to make the aircraft in India at the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).
Russian Deputy Trade Minister Alexander Potapov said on Tuesday, “In accordance with a request from the Indian side, we sent our proposals on organising the production of Il-114-300 aircraft at HAL facilities.”

“One such project could be the creation of an Indian regional aircraft,” Potapov said. India’s Commerce and Industry ministry confirmed that Russia will take part in the Make in India programme. Reports say that Russia is planning to mass produce the Il-114-300 by 2019.
India is already using Ilyushin Il-78 mid-air refuellers and Il-76 strategic transport aircraft in its air force. The Indian Navy, too, uses Ilyushin for patrol.
