Overturning Jodhpur district court’s verdict in 17 year old Chnkara and Black-Buck case, the Rajasthan High Court on July 25  acquitted actor Salman Khan in two cases of poaching.

Salman had challenged the lower court’s order when they had handed him one and five years’ imprisonment.

The Jodhpur High Court had reserved its order in May 2016, and gave verdict on July 25 once hearing in the matter had completed.

The verdict will come as a huge relief to Salman who had to spend eight days in Jodhpur Central Jail (in 2006), when the lower court found him guilty of the offences.

Salman is still being tried for possessing illegal arms.

While Rajasthan court was forgiving towards Salman, Twitterati’s were not so and took the opportunity to troll him instead.
