Sending Out Strong Message, Rajnath Singh Says Government Won’t Let Anyone Dent India’s Honour

Home minister Rajnath Singh assured people that Narendra Modi-led government won’t allow anyone to dent country’s honour.

PTI reported that during his two-day tour to Ladakh, Singh said that the entire nation has faith in Indian Army and dismissed the reports which questioned surgical strikes carried out recently by the forces on the terror launch pads in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

He told reporters,”The entire nation has faith in our armed forces and are proud of them and it will remain so. Our government will not allow anyone to dent the country’s honour and prestige at any cost. We will ensure that the country’s head is always held high.”

Recently, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Congress asked for proof from BJP for surgical strikes.

Kejriwal, in a video message, had said,”Recently they (Pakistan) took a delegation of international media to Pakistan and told them that there was no surgical strike at all by the Indian forces. They are spreading a false propaganda. Modiji should expose the false propaganda of Pakistan.”

Taking a jibe at the ‘doubters’, BJP asked them why were they coming under influence of Pakistan’s propaganda.

“I want to ask Arvind Kejriwal whether he believes in the extraordinary valour of our Army or not in conducting surgical strikes,” Union minister and BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said in a press briefing.

He added that under the garb of seeking proof, they shouldn’t belittle great leadership, courage and sacrifice of armed forces. “Why are you getting influenced by propaganda of Pakistan ,” Prasad asked Kejriwal.
