No level of security can stop ghosts from entering a Presidential palace. And who can testify to this statement better than the Brazilian President?

President Michel Temer of Brazil had to move out of his Presidential palace, known as Alvorada Palace, as he believes that the place is haunted by ghosts.

President Temer commented:

I felt something strange there. I wasn’t able to sleep right through the first night. The energy wasn’t good… We even started to wonder: could there be ghosts?

The Alvorada Placa has been the official residence of the President of Brazil since 1960. The vast estate, located in Brasilia, boasts a huge swimming pool, a football field, a chapel, a medical center and vast lawns. Built by Oscar Neimeyer in 1957-1958, the estate is built in modernistic style.

The First Lady of Brazil, Marcela Temer, also called in a priest to drive the spirits away. However, when the priest failed to purify the place, the President, along with his family, moved to the vice presidential palace, known as Jaburu Palace.

The vice president of Brazil was impeached last year following his involvement in accounting laws and, since then, the appointment has been left vacant.

We hope that the Alvorada Palace becomes pure again and the President resumes his normal routine in his official residence.
