Eighteen Days After Death, A Film On Pratyusha Bannerjee On The Cards

According to this report, two production houses will team up to make a film on the life of Pratyusha Banerjee, the promising TV actress who committed suicide on April 1.

Tentatively titled ‘Har Pal Hai Dhokha’, the film will reportedly star Tanisha Singh.

She is apparently the same girl who rocked the 2014 election season by posing for photos draped in a Congress flag.

The producers of this film have to their credit some films the names of which do not matter. This is a trailer of one of their upcoming films, and it is cringeworthy.

The report says that the makers of ‘Har Pal Hai Dhokha’ held a muhurat shoot recently at a recording studio.

The role of Rahul Raj Singh, Pratyusha’s boyfriend, will be essayed by Shravan Raghav. Other actors include Aryan Vaid and Sahil Prabhakar.

Previously, Ram Gopal Varma was criticized for doing a recce of the Taj Mahal hotel for a film on the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. That film was released to critical acclaim.

It has just been 18 days since the tragic death of Pratyusha Banerjee. But being the land where the show must go on, Bollywood is always able to smell opportunities even in tragedy.
