After Pakistani singer Shafqat Amanat Ali condemned Uri attack, actor Fawad Khan also broke his silence and said he prays for a peaceful world.
The Pakistani actor, who has huge fan following in India, was drawn into controversy after the attack. It was also reported that he also abused bollywood industry.
Khan, in a facebook post, said that we owe a peaceful world to future generation.
He wrote, “As a father of two little children, I pray and wish like many others that together we can build and live in a more peaceful world. I believe we owe it to our children who will shape our tomorrow.”
Further, putting rest to all false claims, he asked people to disregard them as he had not said any of them. This wa the first time he expressed his thoughts on the attack.
“This is the first time I have spoken on the matter. Please disregard any other words attributed to me during this time because I have not said them. I thank all my fans and fellow artists from Pakistan, India and people in general all over the world who have shown continued support for their belief in love and understanding to unite a divisive world,” he said.
