Shipra Malik, a 29-year-old fashion designer from Noida, has gone missing under mysterious circumstances shortly after she called up Delhi police helpline on February 29.
The victim’s last location was Lajpat Nagar in South Delhi. Reportedly, on February 29 afternoon she left from her home for Chandni Chowk. The victim’s Maruti Swift car was found abandoned 500 metres away from her home in Sector 37.The car’s doors were ajar and the keys were found on the car mat.
The family has lodged an FIR at Noida’s police station. Kiran S, senior superintendent of police, told TOI
, “A woman fashion designer, who lives in Sector 37 Noida, left for Delhi at around 1.18 PM. Her last location was Lajpat Nagar(South Delhi) from where she called police helpline 100. From there she went missing. We have registered a complaint.”

Kiran added that Shipra’s family members suspected an old landlord in the case. The police had also dispatched many teams to Delhi including Lajpat Nagar to search for the woman. Last month, a 25-year-old Snapdeal employee went missing after taking
an autorickshaw from the metro station in Vaishali area in Ghaziabad. She returned unharmed home after 40 hours.
