Farmer Commits Suicide In AAP Rally But Politicians Are Busy With Blame Game

In a horrific incident that happened on Wednesday, a farmer committed  suicide in Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) rally which was organised to protest against Land Acquisition Bill.

According to Hindustan Times, the farmer was declared dead on arrival at Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital.

As reported, the farmer left behind a suicide note in which he said he was the son of a farmer from Rajasthan who had lost their crop to last month’s unseasonal rain and hailstorm.

As the word spread about the suicide, AAP leader Somnath Bharti alleged that it was a ‘conspiracy’.

“I don’t want to politicise this but it is sad that such an environment has been created in the nation.”

Appalled with government and all the political blame game around the suicide, Twitterati vented their anger with messages.

It is shocking to hear AAP leaders such as Bharti trying to paint such a sad incident in colours of controversy and conspiracy. And hear what another of its esteemed leaders, Ashutosh, said sarcastically, “From the next time we will ask the Delhi CM Kejriwal himself to climb up a tree and save the farmer. It is Kejriwal’s fault that he himself did not climb up the tree.”
