The much awaited Season 6 of Game of Thrones premiered on April 24 and left its viewers in gloom as it had at the end of Season 5.
While the first episode hardly revealed anything as to what will happen this season, it did manage to add few of its own cliffhangers.
Jon Snow is very much dead, well at least for this episode. But the question is will he remain dead? We will have to wait at least a week more to find out.
The Dothrakis are back, and here to stay, at least for one more season. No matter how much we want Daenerys to finally head towards Westeros and staring claiming ‘her’ throne, it seems that it isn’t going to happen anytime soon.
Tyrion and Varys take a walk, but that is all that they do this episode as they have no idea where to go from here. This might just be creator’s way of keeping their audience guessing.
This is going to be a rough season for Arya. The tough girl that we have known for past five seasons has finally broken. Though there is a strong possibility that Arya once again will fight the odds and come out on top; for now she is blind and begging just to stay alive.
Sand Snakes of Dorne are not to be messed with. The women have not only successfully poisoned and killed Myrcella Lannister but also took up arms against their own price. It seems like the Dornish story line is here to stay.
It’s Lanisters against the world once again as the duo of Cersei-Jaime are back and the tragedy of losing their only daughter now seem to have gotten incestuous lovebirds back to their scheming ways with an additional thirst for revenge.
Sansa and Theon are finally growing up and are taking the steps in the right direction. Be it Theon finally standing up to Boltan’s men or Sansa accepting Brienne of Tarth as her personal protector.
Brienne of Tarth finally gets a break. After a series of bad luck with women of Winterfell, Brienne has finally found a `Stark` who not only accepted her but her sword as well.
Well, all this time we might have blamed Jon Snow of knowing ‘nothing,’ one thing that final scene of “The Red Woman” taught us was us that we ourselves know absolutely ‘nothing’ about Melisandre aka `The Red Woman` and that this might be the season we finally find out.
