Two Employees Arrested For Stealing Jewellery At Indira Gandhi International Airport

Two employees were arrested after they were caught on camera stealing jewellery from a passenger’s bag at Indira Gandhi International Airport.

The accused–Amit Kumar (23) and Rohit Kumar (22)– were working with an airport services company Air India-SATS.

“A case was registered and investigations started. AISATS manager provided the cops with CCTVfootage of the aircraft’s belly. While going through the video, investigators noticed two employees of AISATS rummaging through a passenger’s bag,” said Dinesh Kumar Gupta, DCP IGI.


The matter came to light when a passenger of an international flight-Dubai to New Delhi reported her valuables were missing from her bag after she arrived at IGI.
