CAB Likely To Name Eden Gardens’ Stands After Sourav Ganguly, Jagmohan Dalmiya

In their latest working committee meeting on September 19, the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) decided to name seven of the Eden Gardens’ stands after eminent personalities that are associated with Cricket.

 

The association is mulling over naming their stands after former India captain Sourav Ganguly and late cricket administrator Jagmohan Dalmiya among others.

Besides, Ganguly and Dalmiya, other names proposed by the members of the working committee meeting are; former cricketer Pankaj Roy, former CAB presidents B.N. Dutt, A.N. Ghosh, Snehanshu Acharya and Sidhartha Shankar Ray.

Though these seven names were proposed, nothing has been finalised yet and the topic would once again be taken up by CAB office bearers for final call.
