Donald Trump Officially Declared As Republican Party’s Presidential Nominee

Donald J. Trump has officially become Republican party’s presidential nominee for the US presidential election 2016.

He crossed the threshold of 1, 237 votes–needed to contest U.S. presidential election–during the party’s 2016 primary election.The controversial candidate defeated his 16 party rivals.


Soon after the announcement, Trump, in a three-minute -minute address, said:

“I am so proud to be your nominee for president of the United States. With your vote today, this stage of the presidential process has come to a close. We’re going to make America great again.”

Hillary Clinton, who is presumptive Democratic party presidential nominee, was target of verbal attacks during the convention. But, she was quick to respond.

The election is scheduled for November 8, 2016.
